The 8^th International Conference on European Economics and Politics, which is jointly organized by the Network for European Studies, is hosted by the Swiss Economic Institute (KOF, ETH Zurich) on July 14-15, 2026.

Econophysics is an interdisciplinary field that emerged over the last decades, transferring tools, methods, and modes of reasoning from Statistical Physics and the theory of complex systems to the study of economic phenomena.

The meeting, held on May 12, was organised by the International Relations Development office to strengthen the network with key Asian academic partners and to present the English-language programme. This visit established the framework for future mobility exchange agreements, which have the potential to facilitate student exchanges between the two universities, promoting enhanced cultural and scientific collaboration between Milan and Hong Kong.
