Quality Assurance of the PhD Program
The Quality Assurance (QA) system for the PhD program is described in detail in the section of the University portal dedicated to Quality Assurance.
In line with the measures proposed by the University’s Doctoral School, the quality control and monitoring of the PhD programme is entrusted to the quality management group, which is responsible for:
- drawing up the planning and organisational document for teaching and research activities;
- drawing up the Annual Report;
- monitoring the progress of PhD students, their views on teaching and research activities, their satisfaction upon completion of the programme, and in the years following completion of the PhD;
- verifying, through regular meetings with representatives from the world of work, the alignment between the proposed teaching activities and employment demands;
- contributing to the drafting of the Triennial Review.
Following the activities described above, the quality management group is responsible for identifying any corrective actions or improvements and proposing them to the Doctoral Board and the Department for approval and implementation.
