At this time of profound suffering and uncertainty due to what is happening in your country, we wish to reach out to you, together with the Rector, with a message of solidarity and concrete commitment. The University is not only the place where you build your professional future; it is also a civic community that recognizes and safeguards your dignity as young people and scholars.
We are deeply aware of the enormous difficulties you are facing and of the impact this situation has on your peace of mind and, consequently, on your academic performance. For this reason, the University Governance has already initiated a close dialogue with all Department Directors and Degree Programme Coordinators.
Our objective is clear: to ensure that the political crisis and the harsh repression that has followed do not undermine your right to education.
We have asked each Degree Programme to take action to facilitate your academic path through tailored support measures. These interventions will respect the specific nature and educational value of your field of study, so that your academic qualification retains its full value while also responding to the needs of this difficult moment (for example, the possibility of organizing extraordinary examination sessions upon request).
We would also like to remind you that our Counselling and guidance services and the B.Inclusion space are fully available to you, offering listening and support.
As faculty members and part of the University Governance, we feel a strong responsibility not to leave you alone. We remain at your disposal to listen to your needs and to support you during this particularly painful and delicate phase.
